About Us

The Bridge Network is a group of experienced, South Sudanese researchers who met in 2017 while working on research projects for the London School of Economics (UK) and elsewhere.

We realised that our nuanced understandings and networks in South Sudan had much to offer international practitioners and policy makers as they struggled to understand how to make South Sudan a better and more peaceful place.

We committed to work together to put South Sudanese scholarship at the forefront of the evidence-base on which aid and development programming in South Sudan is built.
